YL Convention 2017I was traveling this week with my wife attending Young Living’s International Grand Convention. The trip was awesome – we met lots of great people, and Young Living introduced some amazing new products (all natural sunscreen, after sun spray, and insect repellent, to name just a few.) Being on the road makes it tougher to stay on schedule and get the same quantity and quality of workouts. I also didn’t take a scale with me, so I couldn’t check in until I returned (also why this update is a few days late.) I was concerned about the impact this would have on my weight loss but was ecstatic to see when I weighed in this morning at 253.5, only up 0.9 pounds over last week.

Report Card

I’m tracking 5 key categories that I have learned impact me the most. Here is my report card for this week:

Total Calories Fail My average for the week was 2,698, quite a bit over my goal of 2,200. Lots of eating out cost me this week.
Intermittent Fasting Fail My goal is to fast for 16 hours every day, but with my schedule this week I missed 2 days this week.
Supplements Pass My goal with supplements is to make sure I am getting my NingXia Red every day with Slique Essence, taking my vitamins (Core Supplements) at least once a week, and replacing at least 3 meals a week with Slique Shake. This week I achieved all 3.
Sugar Fail My goal is to average <60g of sugar per day and I averaged 105g this week. Airport and hotel snacks were my weakness this week.
Exercise Pass My target is 5 20 minute high-intensity workouts each week. This week I managed to get in all 5, even getting in 3 workouts in the hotel gym.
