254 PoundsThis week I weighed in at 254.6, down 2.2 pounds this week and closing in on a total of 90 pounds lost. I was struggling with some bad food choices last weekend and on Monday I actually weighed in at 263.2 (up 6.4 pounds in just 2 days!) Fortunately this week was when I had planned to revisit my 5-day cleanse challenge. I hosted a private Facebook group for a small group of people who also wanted to go through the cleanse and shared thoughts and updates each day. It was perfect timing for me and just what I needed to “reset” myself.

5-Day Cleanse Part 2

This week I went through the 5-Day Cleanse again. The only difference between this time and last time is that I used the Slique Shake as a replacement for the Balance Complete shake (which was out of stock.) I also allowed myself to have some of the suggested snacks – raw veggies, nuts, and a rice cake. I love the taste of the Slique Shake and they are very similar nutrition wise. Today is the final day, so I’ll write up more details on my thoughts from this time around next week, but I already know I am in a much better place mentally with food today than I was a week ago.
