strawberry shakeI have struggled with my eating this week. I’ve been hungry and had some serious snack and sugar cravings. It is almost like my body heard me say I was going to do the 5 Day Cleanse again and it is revolting against the idea. Pizza, ice cream, milkshakes… You name it, and I have given in this week. My weigh in this week was 258.8, up 0.7 pounds from last week. My overall calorie average was not up much over my goal, but my sugar consumption was up quite a bit and I believe that the results this week are all about the sugar.

Report Card

I’m tracking 5 key categories that I have learned impact me the most. Here is my report card for this week:

Total Calories Fail My average for the week was 2,379 calories per day against my target of 2,200. I only logged 3 days this week where I met my target.
Intermittent Fasting  Fail My goal is to fast for 16 hours every day, and I made it 6 out of the 7 days this week. The one day I missed was when my wife got up and made the kids bacon. I just couldn’t resist.
Supplements Pass I had 2oz. of NingXia Red every day with a few drops of Slique Essence added. The days this week that were good were because I had a Slique Shake as one of my meals. I have to be more consistent with that as it really helps me avoid feeling hungry which is what got me into trouble.
Sugar Fail My goal is to average <60g of sugar per day and I was at 81g this week. One day I was more than double that goal.
Exercise Pass I was able to get in 6 workouts this week and feel great. I have been incorporating running more into my workouts and logged over 5 miles in the last week.
