Last week my weight loss was stalled and I was wondering what the issue was. The only thing I had found that was different was that I had run out of NingXia Red. Well, this week I made sure to get my NingXia Red + Slique Essence in every day and I was consistent with my Intermittent Fasting plan – 16 hours a day without eating. Unfortunately, I was on the road which meant most of my meals were eaten out and I had to create makeshift workouts in a very small hotel gym. I also didn’t have my scale, so I had no idea how the week was trending. I was sure that I was going to end up with another flat week or worse. I was quite surprised when I stepped on the scale Friday morning and weighed in at 276.4 – down 3.3 pounds this week.
NingXia Red and Slique Essence
NingXia Red is a whole-body supplement made primarily from the goji berry (wolfberry). It also includes plum, aronia, cherry, blueberry, and pomegranate juices and extracts. I drink 1-2 oz. every day (when I don’t run out) and I have been a big fan since I began my weight loss journey and I have more information on this page.
Since my Slique Challenge, I have been mixing in 3-4 drops of Slique Essence as well. Slique Essence is an oil blend that combines Grapefruit, Tangerine, Lemon, Spearmint, and Ocotea with Stevia extract.
I weighed in today at 276.4 pounds, down 3.3 pounds from last week and a total of 66.8 pounds (19.5% of my body weight). Here are all the additional details from my iHealth Core wireless scale:
