Slique Bar at BasketballYesterday was day 3 of my 5 day extension to the Slique Challenge and I lost another 0.5 pounds. I ended up at 1,833 calories, so about 400 calories lower than the two previous days. The nutrient breakdown was in my target range at 44% carbs / 25% protein / 31% fat. Since I changed up my format I have lost 1.8 pounds. Earlier today I posted my weekly update on my weight loss progress and ended up exactly the same as last week. I started this week off with gains on the first two days, so this revised program has been critical to getting back on track.

Daily Breakdown

Breakfast (7:30am)
Pre-Workout Meal (12:30am)
For my workout today I did a strength session with Squat, Bench Press, and Seated Rows. The exercises were 4×12 reps with 90s rest in between and a bit more than that switching between exercises.
Post-Workout Meal (2:30)
Snack (around 6:00)
  • Slique Bar – this was awesome to have with me at my daughter’s basketball game. Much better for me than Nachos!
  • Apple Pie Larabar
  • 32oz water

Dinner (around 8:00)

  • Beef Stew
  • 2 slices of Supreme Pizza
  • 1 oz. NingXia Red (with 1 drop each of Frankincense and Grapefruit and 2 drops Slique Essence)
  • 128oz water (between 8-11)
