Wendy Birthday CakeYesterday was day 2 of my 5 day extension to the Slique Challenge. I ended up right at 2,200 calories again but I was able to get in a little more protein overall coming in at 36% carbs / 28% protein / 36% fat. I did the same workout in the gym and followed the same general fasting protocol as yesterday. Yesterday was also my wife’s birthday and 430 of my calories came from this fabulous cake that came from Whole Foods. This morning I was down another 0.5 pounds from yesterday. This is the difference between a diet with hard and fast rules and a health journey where you learn to incorporate life with life-style. I intentionally managed what I ate throughout the day to leave room to have a piece of cake at our birthday celebration. I also had chicken nuggets and a slice of pizza.

Daily Breakdown

Breakfast (7:30am)
  • Slique CitraSlim powder capsules
  • 1 oz. NingXia Red (with 1 drop each of Frankincense and Grapefruit and 2 drops Slique Essence)
  • 96oz water (between 8-11)
Lunch (12:30am)
For my workout I did a 20 minute weight circuit consisting of 3 sets of 12 reps each with about 1 minute of rest in between:
  • Half Snatch with bar
  • Dead Lift with bar
  • Shoulder Press with T-Bar
  • Step Ups
Afternoon Snack (2:30 – post workout)
  • Chick Fil A Chicken Nuggets (20)
  • Slice of leftover Supreme Pizza and some black olives
  • 32oz water
Dinner (around 8:00)
