Slique BarYesterday I completed the 15 day Slique Challenge, but I decided to add 5 more days with a slightly different schedule focused around the concept of intermittent fasting (see yesterday’s post for details). With the changes I made yesterday and a virtually identical day of eating (calories and composition) this morning I had lost 0.7 pounds. My weight can fluctuate normally from day to day by more than that, so it will be interesting to follow this for the 5 days and see what happens.

Daily Breakdown

Breakfast (7:30am)
  • Slique CitraSlim powder capsules
  • 1 oz. NingXia Red (with 1 drop each of Frankincense and Grapefruit and 2 drops Slique Essence)
  • 128oz water (between 8-11)
Lunch (11:30am)
  • Pure Protein Shake (protein plus the branch chain amino acids before my workout as recommended in some of the research I linked to yesterday)
  • Chick-Fil-A Southwest Salad
  • Slique CitraSlim powder/liquid capsules
  • 64oz water
Workout
For my workout I did a 20-minute weight circuit consisting of 3 sets of 12 reps each with about 1 minute of rest in between:
  • Half Snatch with bar
  • Dead Lift with bar
  • Shoulder Press with T-Bar
  • Step Ups
Afternoon Snack (2:30 – post workout)
Dinner (around 8:00)
  • Panera Chicken Tortellini Alfredo
  • 92oz water

My total caloric intake for the day was 2,200 calories at 35% carbs / 23% protein / 42% fat. Having the Slique ShakePure Protein Shake, and Slique Bar made it much easier to prepare and recover from my workout without having to think about meal planning.
