Today marks 10 weeks since I started my journey and today I weighed in at 302.6. Last week I was 302.0, so this week was basically flat. I’m disappointed with the results in my weight this week as I worked out really hard this week, but it did show in my body fat and muscle mass results, so I’m hoping it shows up next week in my weight. It is a good reminder to be smart about what I eat over the holidays, but I am still pleased with the fact that I have lost just over 40 pounds in 10 weeks!

Exercise

This week I ran a lot of stairs, ran a lot of sprints, and regularly did my Cardio Boxing on the Moov Now.

I also tried out the Circuit Training app on the Moov Now. This app only requires one device on your wrist and it walks you through a circuit of Jumping Jacks, Squats, Plank, Lunge, Push Ups, and Crunches. You have to go through level 1 once before it unlocks all the levels and lets you pick how long your workout is. Level 1 is pretty easy, so I was concerned, but once you unlock and get up to the higher levels it is quite good. The sensitivity is not as good as with boxing – sometimes it doesn’t detect that you did a squat or lunge for instance. Since you are wearing the device on your wrist you have to exaggerate your arm movement even if that isn’t part of the exercise. I’ll take some pictures and do a post reviewing this feature specifically after I have more time with it.

 

Weigh In

I weighed in today at 302.6 pounds, up 0.6 pounds from last week. While it is disappointing to not be down in weight, my body fat was down 3.7% this week and my lean mass was up 11.4 pounds. This is why it is so useful to have all these details from my iHealth Core wireless scale so I am not focused solely on weight. Here are today’s results with comparisons to where I started:
